NPF will form the next government with thumping majority: Zeliang

Dimapur(Nagaland) Feb 15: TR Zeliang, the incumbent chief minister and chief ministerial candidate of the ruling NPF on Thursday affirmed that the Naga People’s Front, ‘the oldest and longest surviving regional Party in North-East India that has guided the Naga people since its inception in 1963 would form the next Government by March 13'.

Rawat inaugurated the SVEEP Photo Exhibition and also released SVEEP booklet during the occasion .

Dimapur(Nagaland) ,Feb12: Former chief minister and present Lok Sabha MP Neiphiu Rio was today declared elected unopposed for the 13th Nagaland Legislative Assembly following withdrawl of candidature by his opponent, Chupfuo Angami of the Naga People’s Front (NPF) from the Northern Angami-II AC assembly seat.

Kohima (Nagaland) Feb 12: Veteran regionalist and President of the Naga People’s Front Dr. Shürhozelie Liezietsu today called upon the people that the 2018 election is so much unlike the other elections, and that it is a selection between the destruction or preservation of the Naga people and their identity.
He warned the Naga people that a day would come when the whole Naga people shall suffer and our identity might perish if we do not realize what force is penetrating into our land.

Nagaland : 253 candidates at the hustings

Dimapur(Nagaland), Feb 8: A total of 253 nominations were filed including 45 nominations of the standby candidates till the stipulated closing time of filing of nominations  for the February 27 assembly election.
According to CEO, Nagaland Abhijit Sinha the figure stands at 208 nominations minus 45 nominations of the standby candidates.
