Nagaland : 6 villages resolve to stop Zubza rail project

Dimapur(Nagaland) March 16: Six villages have once again resolved to continue with the complete stoppage of work on the ongoing rail project works for the proposed railway line to Zubza due to non settlement of the discrepancy in the rate of land compensation under the jurisdiction of their villages.
The villages are Dhansiripar, Zutovi, Razaphe Basa, Pimla, Khemnok and Shokhuvi. The complete stoppage of work is continuing for the last five months.

The council urged all to pray for forgiveness of individual sin, for forgiveness of national sin, give thanks to Him with a grateful heart for all of His benefits, pray for God's help to save and sustain the Naga nation and recommit to the cause/calling and submission to the will of God.

Nagaland : NPF appreciates Centres approval of 3000 cr worth of road projects

Dimapur (Nagaland ) Mar 15: Naga People’s Front today acknowledged with deep appreciation the announcement of central government for heeding their demand by approving 12 road projects worth more than 3000  crore in Nagaland 
The bad road condition in Nagaland has always been the main concern of the then NPF-led DAN Government and the former Chief Ministers TR Zeliang and Dr Shurhozelie Liezietsu had taken up the matter on a war footing with the Central Government.

Terror Funding : Zeliang issued fresh summon by NIA

Dimapur(Nagaland) March 14: After receiving the second summon issued by National Investigation Agency (NIA) to appear on March 17, the opposition leader and Former Nagaland chief minister TR Zeliang has alleged the exercise to be part of a political “conspiracy”.
NIA has issued fresh summons to Zeliang after he failed to appear before it on March 13 at New Delhi for questioning in a probe in connection with an alleged terror financing case.

Nagaland :Yhoshu elected Speaker

Dimapur(Nagaland) Mar 14 : The first session of thirteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly elected Vikho-o Yhoshu as it's Speaker.
Prior to the election of the  speaker all the elected members made the Oath of Affirmation before the Speaker pro-tem, Mmhonlumo Kikon and took their seats in the 13th NLA.

Nagaland : CM Rio allocates portfolios

Dimapur(Nagaland) March 12: Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio on Monday, the fifth day of swearing in of his council of ministers allocated the portfolios to the 12 member cabinet.
Rio kept the key portfolio of Finance, personnel and Administrative reforms and all other important portfolios not allocated to any minister.
