Dambuk Village (Arunachal Pradesh) : Overnight leaders Gerrari Off-roaders from Chandigarh proved to be the most accomplished team in the JK Tyre-Orange 4x4 Fury, clinching the coveted title and the winners’ prize purse of Rs 2.5 lakh with ease here on the third and final day on Sunday.
Kabir Waraich and Gurmeet Singh proved to be in a different league, excelling on each of the three days to amass 514.5 points to win the title.

Dambuk Valley (Arunachal Pradesh) : The JK Tyre-Orange 4x4 Fury, the ultimate natural offloading event in the country, got off to a spectacular start here at the picturesque lower Dibang Valley on Saturday, with the Gerrari Off-roaders from Chandigarh streaking into the lead after Stage 2.
The four-member team, comprising of two cars each, led by drivers Kabir Waraich and Gurmeet Singh, overcame all the obstacles in their path to steal the early advantage even as excited crowds cheered them on.

Celebration Time : 60 years of His Holiness, the14th Dalai Lama's coming to India

Tezpur (Assam) : The Core Group for Tibetan Cause  is  all geared up to celebrate the 14 th Dalai Lamas coming to India .
The Organisers -The Delhi based NGO- The Core Group for Tibetan Cause, coordinates  214 Tibetan support groups all over the country. 
 As per the programme chalked out  a  march would be organised from  Indo- Tibeten border in  Chhuthangmo via kenzamani , Zemithang, Lumla, Tawang , Bomdila, Deomari and to Tezpur.This historic  route  was taken  by the Dalai Lama when he came over to India.  

Arunachal Pradesh : 2 NSCN (IM) cadres arrested in Mullong

Mullong (Arunachal Pradesh) : The Changlang battalion has apprehended two Nationalist Socialist Council of Nagaland (NSCN-IM) cadres from Arunachal Pradesh's Mullong area.
A pistol with live ammunition and other incriminating possessions were recovered from the two.
The Kohima-based Defence Wing informed that the Changlang battalion on December 1 launched an operation on receiving information about the duo who carried out extortion from the villagers.

China objects to President Ram Nath Kovind’s Arunachal Pradesh visit

New Delhi: China on Monday objected to Indian President Ram Nath Kovind’s visit to Arunachal Pradesh over the weekend, saying India should refrain from “complicating” their border dispute when bilateral ties were poised at a “crucial moment.”
Beijing’s objections to Kovind’s visit follows its criticism earlier this month of a weekend visit by Indian defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman to Arunachal Pradesh. China has routinely slammed visits by Indian leaders to the state that it claims is Southern Tibet.

Arunachal Pradesh : Former legislator Ngurang Pinch laid to rest

Kimin (Arunachal Pradesh):  State Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Monday  attended the funeral service of former MLA, Ngurang Pinch who  passed away on Satuday.
Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, MoS Home Kiren Rijiju and State BJP President Tapir Gao also attended the service held here at his private residence.

Vijoynagar (Arunachal Pradesh):Believe it or not, people living in Vijoynagar town along  Indo -China border  of Arunachal Pradesh pay Rs 8,000 for one bag of cement, that too if it is available.
Vijoynagar, a sub-divisional town under Changlang district with just 1500 residents, has no proper surface communication. People have to walk for five days from the nearest thoroughfare in Miao to reach the town.

The three-day fashion extravaganza, which willto conclude on Sunday, has been organized in association with Arunachal Government and Arunachal Tourism.
