No halt in Indo-Bangla trans border crimes

Shillong (Meghalaya) The Indian security forces manning the Indo-Bangladesh border are believed to have gathered some stunning inputs on the trans border crimes and criminals after top GNLA rebel Maruch Ch Sangma surrendered before the authorities a couple of days back.
 
According to BSF sources, Maruch who was close to hardcore GNLA rebels Bade Ch Marark, Jakchu and Kartush, regularly helped the Garo rebel outfit as an  arms courier. He did all these in addition to the guidance in infiltration and ex-filtration into Bangladesh.
 
He told BSF that he received arms consignment, accessories and camouflaged dresses  from Bangladeshi national Dipon R Marak and Philip and delivered the consignments to GNLA cadres in forested areas of Telikhali and Jankhol  villages in South Garo Hill District.
 
During this period in Bangladesh, the top Garo rebel came in close touch with a gang of notorious criminals who were responsible for a series of crimes at regular intervals. They included Rupon  Khagra , Bheash Ch Sangma, Nirmal R Marak , Sanjay Sangma , Nilsang D Sangma and Phisto Sangma.
 
These criminals are wanted in connection with a number of trans border crimes like kidnapping of businessmen and various passengers playing between Baghmara to Dalu on NH-62 in South Garo Hills District.
 
Apart from having a close  nexus Maruch was hand in gloves with the these notorious Bangladeshi criminals, who had formed an outfit named' Special Bangla Tiger Force'. These criminals are and were involved in killing of  many innocent civilians in Bangladesh.
 
He surrendered before BSF at a ceremony at Dobasipara SHQ in Tura after sustained efforts of intelligence team at Tura which motivated him to return to mainstream
