Guwahati(Assam), Aug 30 : The Guwahati Chapter of Public Relations Society of India(PRSI) launched its Webinar series aptly titled, Ek Cup PR – Reset 20:20 & beyond with an insightful and engaging session with Entrepreneur, Consultant (PR, Media & Marketing); one of the 51 Most Inspiring Women of India (ICICI-2017) & recipient of Mahatma Gandhi National Award 2020- Ms. Jutikaa Mahanta.
Her initiative ‘Bollywood Couch’ is serving as the ‘connecting bridge’ between Bollywood and North East where North East Creative talents are being highlighted and helped to reach out to the right channel In a session moderated by Chapter Vice Chairperson Ruma Chakraborty, Jutikaa talked about her journey to Mumbai and experiences of working with the biggest media conglomerates of the country.
She also spoke on how best a mix of traditional and digital PR could be combined for effective image and brand building; while speaking at length on the nuances of digital PR and promotion. Chapter Chairperson Madhuchanda Adhikari and Secretary Sita Barua also shared their views on the relevance of PR for organisations and the need to adapt with changing times. The webinar was attended by PRSI Members from Guwahati and other Chapters across the country and students of Mass Comm and Journalism from various institutes across Guwahati.
