Civil Service Exam 2019 : Assam’s Aranayak Saikia bags 59 th Rank

Aranyak Saikia from Assam who bagged the 59th Rank in UPSC this year

New Delhi ,Aug 4 : Based on the result of the written part of Civil Services Examination and the interviews for Personality Test held in February-August , the results of UPSC were declared today .

A total number of 829 candidates have been recommended for appointment.

Two candidates from Assam have successfully cleared the UPSC mains this year .They are Aranyak Saikia and Tapan Deka.

Aranyak Saikia is the son of Former DGP Assam , Kuladhar Saikia and bagged 59th rank. The other successful candidate is Tapan Deka who got 766th rank .

He had cleared the examination earlier also and presently serving as an IPS officer in the Karnataka cadre.
