Assam : Five Myanmar trained NDFB (S) militants nabbed while crossing over to India

Kokrajhar(Assam),Nov 17 :Based on specific intelligence inputs about presence of NDFB(S) Cadres in Jairampur, a joint operation was launched by kokrajhar based Red Horns Army Division, Assam Rifles and Jairampur police on Thursday night which resulted in apprehension of 5 well trained militants belonging to the banned NDFB(S).
All the five arrested militants had undergone armed

training in Myanmar and belonged to the 40 th and 42nd batch .

Official sources told South Asia Views that a  group of five NDFB (S) militants were nabbed while they were crossing over to India after undergoing armed training in Myanmar.

During the operation, Security forces also recovered arms and ammunition’s from their possession .

All the five militants along with the seized arms and ammunition’s have been  handed over to the  state police.
